Dropped Ipad On Floor Not Working

Ive heard of pressing the power and home button at the same time.

Dropped ipad on floor not working.

I dropped my ipad on the tile floor and now the screen wont turn on. Finally we thought what the heck threw on the floor 3 times like magic we are back in business. It is ok now but i bet it would have recorded a nasty shock which i am sure they do. Dropped ipad and now display is not working correctly.
