Hild began her career making smooth ceramic vessels building clay into thin and fragile forms whose organic appearances belie their handcrafted nature. Eva hild s sculptures oscillate between polarities. Through hand building hild gradually builds up her sculptures change their direction and make connections. Her works may be described as elegant topological forms that are reminiscent of minimal surfaces since the surfaces basically have a hyperbolic geometry.

With a masterly precision she creates sculptures of white stoneware shaped in swaying curls as if a movement was caught and frozen in time.
